Children from countries all around the world came together May 2 at Old North Church.

The international children’s choir, Children of the World, performed at Old North in Canfield to an audience of more than 1,500.

Composed of 15 children from Nepal, Uganda and the Philippines, the group is a ministry of World Help (www.worldhelp.net), a non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the physical and spiritual needs of children, particularly those in developing countries.

Founded in 1991, World Help now has active ministries in 60 countries around the world.

The program at Old North featured the theme “causelife,” an international effort to provide safe, clean water to those who currently have no access to it.

The Children of the World concert and participation in the ministry of World Help is only part of Old North Church’s larger efforts to meet the needs of others locally and around the world.
