The “Celebrate Poland” festival is only seven weeks away. This year’s event has the makings of the best ever, with new features to go along with the most popular events from the past.

Celebrate Poland will be June 25 and 26 and will offer the firemen’s parade, fireworks, entertainment and food everyone has come to expect from the event.

This year’s event will feature an actual Civil War wedding. Heather Franklin and Christopher Mulidore will get hitched June 26 at the Village Flower Garden.

Other highlights of this year’s Celebrate Poland include the third annual Poland Idol contest, the annual craft show, the parade, a Civil War Encampment and reenactment, fireworks, a lamp light walking tour of Poland Riverside Cemetery, the Youngstown Area Community Orchestra, Chalk it Up for Poland and plenty of food.
