Walk From Obesity’ scheduled in mid-May

St. Elizabeth and St. Joseph Surgical Weight Loss Center will host the area’s first “Walk From Obesity” May 15 at Boardman Township Park. Registration will begin at 9 a.m., and the walk will start at 10.

The object of the event is to draw attention to the obesity epidemic and to raise money for research, education, prevention and treatment of obesity.
