Victorian Players offer deal for moms

All mothers will get a ticket for half price and also receive a gift at Sunday’s 2 p.m. performance of “The Heiress” at Victorian Players Theater, 702 Mahoning Ave. Reservations are recommended to ensure a seat; call (330) 746-5455.

“The Heiress” tells the story of a plain girl who falls in love with a man who is intent on being a part of her family fortune. Her father sees through the young man’s intentions and tries to derail the wedding. The play is based on the Henry James novel “Washington Square.”

“The Heiress” stars Caty Sacui, Bill Finley, Crystal Niemi, Dan Temelkoff, Karen Ferguson, Courtney Nicole Auman, Yvonne Andrews, Marilyn Higgins and Chuck Wilcox. The show is directed by J.E. Ballantyne Jr.
