Security system installed in Howland children's rehab facility

HOWLAND — A digital security system, funded with a $4,348 grant from the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley, was recently installed at Children’s Rehabilitation Center.

The system more effectively ensures the safety of the center’s children, their caregivers, employees and community members while in the building and on the grounds, center officials said.

Since 1957, Children’s Rehabilitation Center has provided therapeutic, educational and supportive services to medically fragile and disabled children in the Mahoning Valley.
