Girlfriend injured
WARREN
Johnathan R. Jenkins, 26, of Willard Avenue Southeast, pleaded innocent Tuesday to felonious assault after police say he cut his live-in girlfriend in the arm with a knife during an argument.
He is in the Trumbull County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond and returns to Warren Municipal Court on Tuesday.
Police officers were called twice early Sunday to the home on Willard where Jenkins, his girlfriend and their three children live.
The second time, about 4 a.m., police found the woman, 25, with a cut on the arm, which she said Jenkins gave her by waving a dagger-type knife around in her direction. She said he also head-butted her on her left eye, which caused swelling.

It also is having an Older Americans Month photo contest to launch its new page on Facebook, the social-networking Web site. To enter, Facebook members can visit the department’s page at www.facebook.com/OhioDepartmentOfAging, become a fan and post their photo (limit one entry per individual) by Sunday.
