Youngstown police looking for armed robber

YOUNGSTOWN — Police are looking for the man who robbed a 19-year-old South Side man at gunpoint.

According to police, the 19-year-old Hillman Street man was leaving a home on Lucius Avenue near South Avenue at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday when he was approached by two men. One of the men pulled out a handgun and demanded “everything you got.”

The victim told police he tried to run, but the gunman caught him, put the gun to his head and demanded his money. The victim handed over $100 and a cell phone.
