A summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

April 23

Warrant: Police arrested Danny Rubesich, 51, of 357 Afton Ave., Boardman, on a warrant for a probation violation stemming from a domestic-violence charge at Herbert Road.

April 24

Telephone harassment/pandering: A woman on Willowbend Drive reported her juvenile daughter was receiving unwanted telephone calls and text messages.

AUSTINTOWN

April 26

Recovered property: A man’s wallet was recovered at a home in the 3000 block of Henricks Road.

Theft: $30.01 in fuel was stolen at UniMart, 5502 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A night deposit of $1,551 was reported missing and an employee is a suspect at McDonald’s, 5526 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested David Grillon, 47, of Canton, on a felony warrant on a theft charge.

Theft: Police issued a summons for theft to Cherri Holloway, 22, of 361 E. Lucius Ave., Youngstown, for theft of $51.95 in children’s clothing at Rainbow, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A cell phone was taken at a home in the 5000 block of Oakcrest Drive.

Theft: Coins and jewelry were stolen at a home in the 3000 block of North Turner Road.

Aggravated menacing: A male juvenile is a suspect in aggravated menacing at a home in the 3000 block of Meanderwood Drive.

Drug offense: Police arrested Scott Wilhelm, 52, of 240 Sleepy Hollow Drive, Canfield, on a charge of drug abuse for possession of marijuana on state Route 46 and London Drive.

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons to Peter S. Harasyn, 30, of 352 Forest Hill Drive, Youngstown, on a charge of disorderly conduct at Shawn’s Driving School, 14 S. Meridian Road.

April 27

Theft: Police arrested two men and a woman accused of taking candy and chips at Sheetz Gas Station, 5499 Mahoning Avenue. Police charged Tiffany Bachhofer, 25, of 4046 Lanterman Road, Austintown with theft and wrongful entrustment for allowing an unlicensed driver to drive her car; Kurt J. Holtzman, 32, the driver, of the Lanterman Road address, with theft and on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense; and Timothy Anderson, 22, of 1405 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown, with theft.

Theft: A vehicle window was smashed and an undetermined amount of money taken from a home in the 1000 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Burglary: An apartment was burglarized in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Theft: An Ohio license plate was stolen from a vehicle at I.T.T., 1030 N. Meridian Road.

Burglary: Items were stolen from an attached garage at a home in the 5000 block of West Radio Road.

Fraud: Money was transferred out of the victim’s account at a home in the 200 block of S. Roanoke Ave.

Theft: Coins were taken from a home in the 200 block of First Street.

Theft: $30.59 in fuel was stolen from Country Fair, 1143 Niles-Canfield Road.

Theft: A Wal-Mart pre-paid Visa credit card was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Timber Lane.

April 28

Drug offense: Police charged Carol Reinert, 26, who listed no address, with possession of drug paraphernalia and possible drug abuse instruments after his arrest at the Rebel Truck Stop parking lot, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive. Lora Vitelli, 35, no address listed, and Reinert were both issued criminal-trespass warnings.

Theft: A torque wrench and socket were taken at Auto Zone, 5430 Mahoning Ave.

Weapons offense: A pocketknife was confiscated from a student at Woodside Elementary school, 4105 Elmwood Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: A male is a suspect in making harassing calls to a home in the 300 block of Beechcrest Drive.

Recovered property: A Roadmaster bicycle was recovered in the 200 block of Idlewood Road.

April 29

Warrant: Police arrested Tara Stewart, 20, of 3955 Fourth St., Struthers, at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road, on a warrant charging failure to appear on a theft charge.

Burglary: A window was broken at a home in the 3000 block of Timber Lane, and a television, Xbox and other items were stolen.

Recovered property: A brown wallet was located on the street on Blackwater Cove and turned in to police.

April 30

Theft: A tractor was entered and a citizens-band radio and equipment were taken at Economy Inn, 1051 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Identity theft: A woman is a suspect in identity theft at Blackheart Tattoo, 5600 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A woman’s wallet was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 5000 block of West Webb Road.

Theft: Police charged Tiera Glover, 22, of 1206 Highland Ave., Warren, with theft and obstruction of official business after her arrest at Dots, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Liquor violation: Police issued a summons to Patrick A. Kalima, 46, Ravenna, accusing hime of underage sale of alcohol at MoJo’s, 5423 Mahoning Ave.

Liquor violation: Police issued a summons to Susan M. Dobrindt, 41, of 5908 Country Trail, Austintown, accusing her of underage sale of alcohol at the Bottom Line Pub, 4903 Mahoning Ave.

Liquor violation: Police issued a summons to Melissa L. Desimone, 34, of 7593 Jaguar Drive, Boardman, alleging underage sale of alcohol to a minor at Davidson’s, 3636 Canfield Road.

May 2

Burglary: Numerous items were taken from an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West apartments.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Ryan S. Gilfillan, 29, of 1631 Westhampton Drive, Austintown, on charges of disorderly conduct, drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after his arrest in the 200 block of Idaho Road.

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons to Johnathan D. Raney, 23, of Pittsburgh, on a charge of disorderly conduct at a home in the 5000 block of Argonne Drive.

Telephone harassment: A man is accused of telephone harassment at an apartment at Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.

Auto theft: A 1999 Pontiac Grand Am was stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Oakcrest Drive.

Menacing: A woman was receiving threatening telephone messages at an apartment in the 5000 block of Wilcox Road.

Theft: A rear license plate was stolen from an auto at the Phoenix House.
