ELECTION UPDATE: Mahoning sales tax has big lead

In Mahoning County, with 76 of 287 precincts reporting, the one-half percent sales tax renewal has a commanding lead, according to the latest election results:

YES: 9,649 or 71.16 percent

NO: 3,911 or 28.84 percent
