ELECTION UPDATE: Hagan likely winner

State Rep. Robert F. Hagan is the likely winner in his re-election bid in the 60th Ohio House District Democratic primary.

With 76 out of 287 precincts reporting, Hagan has 70.9 percent of the vote, which includes absentee voters and 73 of Youngstown’s 75 precincts. The city is the large majority of the house district. His opponent is Don L. Hanni III.

In other results, the Mahoning County 0.5 percent sales tax is winning, with 71.2 percent of the votes counted so far.
