Nearly 100 pounds of marijuana found in car in Pa.
HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — State police say they recovered nearly 100 pounds of marijuana after stopping a car on a central Pennsylvania interstate.
Police say they stopped a BMW for an equipment problem this morning on Interstate 81 near Harrisburg and discovered 97 pounds of suspected marijuana when they searched the vehicle.
Authorities say the drug has a street value of about $200,000.
Police arrested two Louisville, Ky. men who were in the car. Thirty-four-year-old Yoleisy Gomez Llanesa and 33-year-old Yoandro Perez-Rosales face charges of possession with intent to deliver and conspiracy.
