O'Neills mark anniversary at family dinner

YOUNGSTOWN

Mr. and Mrs. John O’Neill of Youngstown will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary during a family dinner at Rachel’s Restaurant in Austintown.

Hosts for the event are their children, Ellan (Ron) Wallace of Katy, Texas; Beth (Tom) Heinz of Austintown; Kevin (Sandy) O’Neill, Joan Shonce, and John (Sissy) O’Neill, all of Youngstown. There are 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren in the family.

The former June Cadman and Mr. O’Neill were married May 6, 1950, at St. Brendan Church.

Mrs. O’Neill, a homemaker, is a member of West Side Baptist Church and the Wedgewood Bowling League.

Mr. O’Neill served with the Ohio National Guard and was a captain with Youngstown Fire Department prior to retiring in 1980. He is a member of St. Brendan Church, the Catholic War Veterans, Buckley Post 1292; Eagles Post 3298; and Firefighters Local 312.
