DiGennaro 50th is observed at surprise party

YOUNGSTOWN

Mr. and Mrs. Rocco DiGennaro of Youngstown were honored April 24 as they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends during a surprise party at the Upstairs Lounge in Austintown.

Hosts for the festivity were their children, Rocco and Terri DiGennaro of Youngstown and Larry and Tracy DiGennaro and Joe and Laura DiGennaro, all of Cincinnati. Their family includes 15 grandchildren.

The former Rose Moronti and Mr. DiGennaro were married April 23, 1960, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville. They are members of St. Luke Church, Boardman.

Mr. DiGennaro, an Army veteran, retired 19 years ago as a laborer with Laborers Local 125. He is a member of Laborers Local 125 Retiree Council.

Mrs. DiGennaro is an abstractor.
