Ballroom dancing lessons at JCC
YOUNGSTOWN
Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, will sponsor classes in ballroom dancing for beginners or those who want a refresher course.
The tango will be taught Tuesday and June 22, and cha-cha classes are July 6 and Aug. 24.

Nurses Association plans banquet
YOUNGSTOWN
“Nurses Make a Difference” is the theme for the annual banquet and continuing education event planned by Ohio Nurses Association, District 3, for Friday at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Park.
The featured speaker will be Mary Jean Schumann, chief program officer of the American Nurses Association.
Registration will be at 6 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 and the program at approximately 7:45.

Tea & Toddlers program at shelter
NEW CASTLE, Pa.
Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County, 1218 W. State St., is offering a new program for those caring for preschool children at home.
The Tea & Toddlers program will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. May 4, 11, 18 and 25 and June 1.
Topics will include healthy relationships, healthy nutrition for preschoolers, creating safety in the home, personal safety to children and taking care of yourself. Refreshments will be provided.
