Youngstown police investigating reported rape of 12-year-old girl

YOUNGSTOWN — Police are investigating the reported rape of a 12-year-old girl by several teenage boys.

The South Side girl told police she was walking down Pasadena Avenue with a group of four boys and one girl at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The girl went home, and the reported victim continued walking with the boys until one dragged her into an abandoned house on Pasadena.

The girl told police two of the boys took turns raping her and the other two boys just watched.

The victim was taken to Forum Health Northside Medical Center for an examination. Police searched the abandoned house, but no arrests have been made.
