Spring fish sale set in Columbiana Co.

The Columbiana Soil and Water Conservation District’s spring fish sale offers various fish species such as largemouth bass, bluegill, channel catfish, crappie, perch, minnows and white amur.

The fish can be picked up at 2:30 p.m. April 13 at the SWCD office in Salem. People must bring a lined container filled with their own pond water. Five to 10 gallons of water per 100 fish is required. The white amur must be placed in a container with a lid or liner large enough to be tied at the top. Only two amur should be placed in each five gallons of water.
