Parents announce Mashburn-Williford engagement

AUSTINTOWN

The engagement and wedding plans of Shelby Mashburn and John-Michael Williford are being announced by their parents.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Deborah Mashburn, both of 4686 Westwood Drive, and the late Donald Mashburn. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and integrated language arts. She is employed as a substitute teacher in Mahoning and Trumbull counties schools.

Mr. Williford is the son of David and Eleanor Williford, all of 5600 London Drive. He will graduate summa cum laude with a bachelor’s in biomedical engineering from Akron University in May.

Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Canfield has been chosen for the couple’s open wedding at 1 p.m. July 9. Invitations will be extended for their evening reception at Avion on the Water in Canfield.
