WEDNESDAY

Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a baked chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the church. The menu will include salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, bread and butter, pie and beverage. Cost is $6.50, and containers will be provided for takeout orders. No reservations are necessary. Canfield Christian Church, 123 S. Broad St., Canfield, will serve Lenten breakfasts from 7 to 9:30 a.m. Donations will be accepted.

Holy Family Church will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. at the parish center, 2729 Center Road, Poland. The cost will be $8.50 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. THURSDAY

Central Christian Church, 2051 E. Market St., Warren, will sponsor a Maundy Thursday pancake supper from 4 to 6 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children under 12. The menu includes sausage, fruit and beverage. For more information call (330) 369-4040.

Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman-Poland Road, Poland, will have dinners of baked stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and green beans to go from 3:30 p.m. until sold out. The cost is $6. Drive to the front of the church, and meals will be brought to your car.

Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4589 Canfield Road, Canfield, will have takeout meals of stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes, green beans and a brownie from 4 p.m. until sold out. The cost is $7. No need to get out of the car. Drive to the door and pick up a dinner. No reservations needed.

FRIDAY

Canfield Lions will sponsor a fish dinner from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. Meals include baked or fried haddock, coleslaw, roll, beverage and dessert, with a choice of one side, french fries, macaroni and cheese, haluski, green beans or pirogi. The cost is $10. Takeouts available.

Girard Eagles, 26 W. Wilson Ave., will sponsor a fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals include fries or baked potato, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, coffee or tea and desserts. The cost is $8. Call (330) 545-6619 for carryouts. Also available are sandwiches and shrimp baskets.

Mahoning Township Volunteer Fire Department will have a fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m at the Edinburg Fire Station. Dinners are $8.50 for adults. Children’s prices available.

Poland Masonic Temple, 7685 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road, Poland, will serve drive-through peanut oil cooked haddock or chicken dinners from 3:30 p.m. until sold out. Meals include jojos, coleslaw, bun and brownie. Drive to the door, and dinners will be brought to your car. The cost is $9 for adults and $5 for children.

St. Christine Church will serve fish dinners from 4 to 8 p.m. at the parish center, 3165 S. Schenley Ave. The menu features baked or deep-fried haddock or shrimp, coleslaw, roll, and choice of french fries, macaroni and cheese, haluski or pirogi. Desserts and beverages will be available. Call the center at (330) 259-4671 beginning at 8 a.m. to place an order. Dinners can be picked up beginning at 2 p.m.

St. Dominic Church, will serve fish dinners with dessert from 5 to 7 p.m. at the parish center cafeteria, 3403 Southern Blvd., Youngstown. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12. Carryouts are available.

St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 159 Reed Ave., Campbell, will sell homemade haluski. The cost is $5 a quart. Orders will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Wednesday at (330) 755-0036 or (330) 755-4141, and pickup will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the church hall.

St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church will sponsor a family fish fry at the Byzantine Center at the Grove, 3801 Shady Run Road, Youngstown. Lunch takeouts begin at 11 a.m., and dine-in will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Dinners will feature baked or fried fish with homemade side dishes, dessert and coffee. TAKING ORDERS
