Youngstown cops look to solve rash of car break-ins


YOUNGSTOWN — City police are looking for the individuals responsible for a rash of car break-ins on the city’s South Side.

Police took six reports of cars being broken into on the South Side on Monday. Thieves rummaged through cars causing damage and taking items such as CDs, MP3 players, GPS systems, IPODs, laptops, clothes, jewelry and loose change.

The thefts occurred on Pointview, Wakefield, Irma and East Florida avenues, and Everett and Craiger streets.
