Team bake sale to finance trip

YOUNGSTOWN

Rayen Early College Destination Imagination Team received an excellent score recently for their presentation on the topic of domestic violence at the regional tournament at Youngstown State University.

The team has advanced and will now compete in a state competition on April 17 at Mount Vernon. The team’s Project Outreach: Band Together presentation was based on the topic of domestic violence.

In order to finance the trip to the state competition, the team will host a bake sale Thursday in the main lobby at Choffin Career Center, 200 E. Wood St.

Items will be available for purchase during regular school hours. Monetary contributions will also be appreciated.
