Summer wedding for Miss Hughes and Mr. Lucas

James and Patrice Hughes of 223 Christian Ave., are announcing the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Brittany Hughes of Herndon, Va., and Justin Lucas of Sterling, Va., son of Luke and Teri Lucas of 4203 Casa Blvd., Grove City, Ohio.

The couple will be married at 1:30 p.m. July 17 at St. Patrick Church. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for a reception at Tiffany’s Banquet Center in Brookfield.

The bride-elect, of 12822 Fantasia Drive, Herndon, Va., graduated from Ohio University Honors Tutorial College in Athens with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a certificate of major in Russian. She is employed as a paralegal at Tievsky Immigration Law in Reston, Va.

The prospective groom, of 21834 Farmosa Square, Sterling, Va., graduated from the OU Honors Tutorial College with a bachelor’s in telecommunications. He is a video production associate with Moonbounce Media in Herndon.
