Youngstown Symphony Guild to present gala Stargazer Ball

YOUNGSTOWN

The DeYor Performing Arts Center will be the setting on April 24 for the Celebration of the Arts Stargazer Ball to be presented by Youngstown Symphony Guild.

The gala event will begin with cocktail parties at 6 p.m. and include a dinner with wine pairings, silent and live auctions and musical entertainment. Among the items that will be available at the live auction will be a trip to Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs, a pearl necklace and an Ohio State University chair.

This year’s event will honor several community leaders and personalities, including Michael and Carmen Ficocelli, co-founders of the Youngstown Symphony; Nanette Lepore, fashion designer; James Lepore, abstract painter and Youngstown State University professor; Michele Lepore Hagan, director of the YSU Performing Art Series; and her husband, state Rep. Robert Hagan of Youngstown, D-60th, an arts advocate.
