Stage Left to host Holocaust ceremony

LISBON

Stage Left Youth Players will host Yom HaShoah, the national Holocaust remembrance ceremony, at 2 p.m. April 11 at Trinity Playhouse, 234 E. Lincoln Way.

The service, sanctioned by the U.S. National Holocaust Museum in Washington and the Christian Friends of Yad Vashem in Jerusalem, will honor the six million Jews murdered during World War II. Irene Schmied, a Holocaust survivor, will be guest speaker. The Stage Left Youth Players will provide music. Caroline Bennett of Canfield and her family will present a dramatic interpretation of “I Never Saw Another Butterfly.”

Job fair planned

WEIRTON, W.VA.

First Niagara Pavilion (formerly Post-Gazette Pavilion) will have a job fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Millsop Community Center, 3420 Main St., to fill positions for the summer season.
