Woman of the year selected by ABWA Charter Chapter

The Shenango Valley Charter Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association recently chose Nancy Tusinac of Campbell as its “Woman of the Year.”

Tusinac, the program director at Diversified Family Services in Hermitage, Pa., has been a member of the organization since April 2000. She served as president-elect in 2002-03, president in 2003-04, and is the 2009-10 treasurer

In addition to serving in various offices, she has chaired several committees, including Woman of the Year, scholarship, program and contact, and has co-chaired the audit and fundraising committees.

Tusinac earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Slippery Rock University and a master’s in health education from Penn State University. She has been employed in human services more than 40 years, the past 23 at Diversified Family Services.

Tusinac is married and has four children and three grandchildren.
