Youngstown murder case brings 4 indictments

YOUNGSTOWN

A grand jury has handed up four indictments for murder in the case of Youngstown’s seventh homicide of this year.

Emmanuel Underwood, 26, of Canton; Randy Bell, 24, of Philadelphia Avenue; Mark Colpetro, 29, of Willis Avenue; and Robert Clark, 27, of Canfield Road, all will face charges of trafficking in cocaine, murder, attempted murder and felonious assault.

They are indicted in the murder of Mark Trulson of Atlantic, Pa.

Trulson, 32, died of a gunshot wound to the head just before 11 p.m. Feb. 19 in St. Elizabeth Health Center.

Trulson, Michelle Difrischia and Charles Gerh were shot around 9:40 p.m. that night while in a pickup truck outside the South Avenue Gas Mart on South Avenue.

According to a coroner’s report, Trulson had been involved in an altercation on South at Williamson Avenue, which ended with the shooting at the convenience store, at 2325 South.

All three victims were taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center.

The following also were indicted by the Mahoning County grand jury:

Jamie J. Graber, 30, Franklin Avenue, Alliance, and Bryan McDonald, 21, Patterson Street, Alliance, receiving stolen property.

Jason Wilson, 22, Vasser Avenue, felonious assault.

Terrance Chatman, 27, Aravesta Avenue, Boardman, two counts of felonious assault, aggravated burglary and disrupting public services.

Clifford E. Smith Jr., 22, Mathews Road, Boardman, vandalism.

Tiffany Sandrock, 24, Fremont Street, possession of drugs.

Christopher Marko, 34, Ashley Street, burglary and aggravated arson.

Kim Shugars, 60, Youngstown-Warren Road, Niles, kidnapping and aggravated robbery.

Joseph R. Lewis, 43, Carnegie Street, Austintown, domestic violence and disrupting public services.

John R. Hovanec, 27, Brookwood Road, Boardman, possession of heroin.

Kenneth Aflleje, 28, Walter Street, Campbell, theft.

Adam Lipscomb, 26, Elruth Court, Girard, and Christopher J. Petko, 28, Fatima, Campbell, receiving stolen property and illegal possession of a weapon.

Ryan Powell, 26, Garfield Avenue, East Palestine, felonious assault.

Dale Lowe, 19, Unity Road, New Springfield, theft.

George Hopkins, 19, Byron Street, three counts of endangering children.

Rakeisha Shelton, 22, East Philadelphia Avenue, rape, gross sexual imposition, unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and two counts of importuning.
