Lady Cardinals celebrate the end of 2010 season

The Canfield High School girls basketball team gathered for a final team dinner Mar. 20.

Players and their families commemorated the 2009-10 season with an awards ceremony and banquet at Mr. Anthony’s.

Coaches and captains thanked the team for their commitment this season. Several players received special awards.

The award for outstanding offensive player went to senior Jillian Halfhill. Freshman Sabrina Mangapora was given the outstanding rebounder award.

Junior Cally Wollet was honored with the most dedicated player award and junior Kaitlin Kaleel was named most improved player.

The two coaches’ awards were given to seniors Sara Shoemaker and Kendal Malsch.

Halfhill, Kaleel and Wollet were all selected first team all-league for the All-American Conference.
