Hubbard students conduct spring planting project

The Vindicator: Pupils in Elaine Scott’s first-grade class at St. Patrick School in Hubbard have been looking forward to spring as they studied about the environment and have become interested in Earth Day. Among the youngsters who are planting seeds to surprise their moms with gifts of gold (marigolds) this spring are, from left, Michael Anderson and Jeffery Hazy.
