With the last snow melting on the playground, Hilltop Elementary School students and their families bid farewell to winter at the school’s annual carnival Mar. 19.

Hilltop’s Winter Carnival featured an assortment of activities in the school’s cafeteria, including a sundae bar, face painting and temporary tattoo art.

Students had the opportunity to enjoy carnival games — including a giant inflatable slide — staffed by volunteers from Canfield Village Middle School.

For parents, the carnival featured a gift basket auction, a 50-50 raffle and a bake sale.

The event was organized and sponsored by the Hilltop PTO.
