‘America’s Got Talent’ tryouts set

A casting call for NBC’s summer reality show “America’s Got Talent” will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday in the Target concourse of Eastwood Mall, sponsored by WFMJ Channel 21.
More than 150 people from the Mahoning Valley are expected to try out, according to a news release from Jack Stevenson, marketing director of WFMJ. The station will videotape the auditions and send them to “AGT” producers. Each person auditioning gets 90 seconds to perform.
Hosting the event will be “WFMJ Today” personalities Scott Schneider, Lauren Lindvig, Mike Case and Mark Monstrola.
Those unable to make it Sunday but still want to try out can get details to submit an audition tape at nbc.com/americas-got-talent/casting/.
Season five of “America’s Got Talent” will premiere June 1, with Howie Mandel as the judge.
