Valley's unemployment rate remained high in February

The unemployment rate in the Mahoning Valley remained high in February.

The state said today that the combined rate for Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties last month was 14.1 percent, compared with 13 percent in February 2009.

Last month’s rate was almost even with January’s unemployment rate of 14.2 percent.
