Benefit to chase away winter blues
YOUNGSTOWN
FrockOn LLC, a fashion social networking site, is teaming up with Slim’s Bar and Grille, 2844 Market St., to present an evening of live music, fashions and blue drink specials on April 3.
Doors will open for the “Chasing the Blues” fundraiser at 8 p.m. The fashion show will be at, 11 and dancing will begin at 12:30. There will be a $3 cover charge, and proceeds will benefit the Rescue Mission.
Museum open house

Salem Historical Society will open its gift shop at the museum, 208 S. Broadway Ave., from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday in conjunction with the Salem Retail and Merchant’s Easter Open House. Patrons can enter from East Alley or East Pershing Street.

Ladies Day event
NEWTON FALLS
Sts. Mary and Joseph School will host a Ladies Day from noon to 5 p.m. April 18 at the Fifth Season Banquet Center, 1400 Main St., Mineral Ridge.
Doors will open at 11:45 a.m., and there will be an entire day of shopping, a fashion show, luncheon, prize drawings and entertainment by Christian comedienne Donna East.
Tickets are $35 and must be purchased by April 10 by calling (330) 872-7676 or (330) 872-3148. There will be a special drawing for tickets purchased before Thursday.
