New low gas rate for Boardman, Poland, Canfield

Poland Village, Canfield Township and Boardman officials have established a low seven-month rate for natural gas for members of the two communities’ programs.

Poland Village and Boardman residents in the natural- gas program supplied by IGS Energy will pay a fixed rate of $6.39 per mcf for all gas consumed during the billing cycle months of May through November 2010. A mailer announcing the new rates will be sent by IGS Energy to residents and small businesses on or about April 1.
