New Castle man loses arm in fireworks accident

NEW CASTLE, Pa. (AP) — Police say a city man has been hospitalized after losing an arm in a fireworks accident.

Police say the man was hurt Wednesday when an explosive went off as he was cleaning his garage.

Investigators say the unidentified man was airlifted to a hospital. His condition was not immediately available.
