Wrecks close a section of I-80 between Routes 193 and 62

HUBBARD — Police spent several hours clearing debris from an accident on Interstate 80 Monday night.

A dispatcher from the Southington post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said an accident occurred about 7:30 p.m. between two tractor trailers and another vehicle on the interstate.

Police are rerouting eastbound traffic on I-80 between state Route 193 and U.S. Route 62. She said that stretch of road will likely be closed until about midnight while crews clear the trucks and other debris.

One person was taken to the hospital in a police cruiser with minor head injuries, the dispatcher said.
