Annual conference to center on epilepsy

AUSTINTOWN

The annual Spring Neurological Conference sponsored by Mahoning Valley Epilepsy is slated for Saturday at Lucianno’s Cafe and Banquet center on Raccoon Road.

The program will center on epilepsy, pseudo seizures, the mind/body connection and how people deal with getting life-changing medical news.

The event begins with registration at 7:15 a.m. and ends at 12:30 p.m.

Guest speakers include Drs. Imad Najm, George Tesar and Jinny Tavee from the Cleveland Clinic. There also will be a discussion led by Barbara Denny, a nationally certified counselor.

Registration is required, and to reserve a seat, call (330) 270-8037 by Friday.

Admission for professionals receiving continuing-education units is $35. For all others, admission is $20.
