Loan underwriter offers a warning

Loan underwriter offers a warning

Don’t mortgage another property until you read the book “Don’t Let a Shark in You Swimming Pool,” by Carolyn A. Mirdo, formerly of Boardman.

Written from an underwriters’ point of view (not a loan agent’s), the book is intended to help you learn the secrets to understanding your mortgage options, loan assumptions, loan pricing and everything else you need to know before financing your home.

Published by High-Pitched Hum Publishing, the book is available for $15.95, and is a must-read filled with sage advice about mortgage loan financing.

BOARDMAN

Eva Schloss, who not only experienced the horrors of the Holocaust but overcame them, tells the powerful, heartbreaking, yet inspirational memoir of her personal triumph in her book, “Eva’s Story.”

The author will be at Barnes and Noble, 381 Boardman Poland Road, from 7 to 9 p.m. April 7, where she will not only have a book signing, but will speak of her experiences and share her insightful message that “life is precious and fragile, that the creative spirit is stronger than fear, and that the power of good is immeasurable.”
