Parishioners and members of the Poland community came out in droves to raise money for the Poland family whose house exploded Feb. 13.

The sold-out dinner, hosted by Holy Family Church, was held in the church’s Parish Center Mar. 4. The event featured a three-course meal, prepared and served by volunteers, and a penny auction.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Brahler family. The family lost their home and possessions when their Center Road house exploded as the result of a gas leak.

Holy Family has provided assistance for the family since the incident.
