Daisy Troop 358, the youngest of five Girl Scout troops meeting at the Canfield United Methodist Church, made a big donation of 170 boxes of cookies to Canfield Operation Blessing, a local food bank.

Every other week, 11 first-graders, under the leadership of Lisa Henry, Micky Rosko, Judy Shaffer and Staci Wills, get together to experience the beginning of Girl Scouts.

This year, the young girls, with the help of their parents, worked hard at selling Girl Scout cookies.

There is an option for people who want to support the troops, but do not want the cookies. Cookies can be ordered and then donated back to the troop so the leaders and girls may give them to an organization of their choice.
