Fugitive wanted for murder in Seattle arrested in Youngstown


YOUNGSTOWN — A man has been arrested here who is charged with a murder a n Seattle late last year.

Members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Tyrese Brandele Harrison today at a duplex apartment in the city.

Harrison was wanted by the Seattle Police Department for reportedly shooting and killing Max Gasoi on Nov. 27 in Seattle.

According to Seattle police, Harrison reportedly shot Gasoi during a drug deal. Harrison immediately left the Seattle area after the shooting.

Police later obtained leads linking Harrison to the Youngstown area.

The task force is comprised of personnel from the U.S. Marshals Service, the Youngstown Police Department, the Ohio Adult Parole Authority and the Goshen Township Police Department.
