WARREN
For the second time in three days, Warren police officers captured men accused of committing an armed robbery shortly after it happened.
Alonzo D. Kirksey, 32, of Logan Avenue, and Herbert Hryronak, 57, of Montclair Street, pleaded innocent to felony charges Tuesday in Warren Municipal Court. Each is in Trumbull County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond.
A store employee said Kirksey walked into the BP gas station, 1290 East Market Street, at 10:30 p.m. Monday, demanded money and walked out with the cash in his pants pockets.
Another witness saw him get into a car, which police located on Main Avenue Southwest about five minutes later.
Kirksey was charged with aggravated robbery, and Hryronak was charged with complicity to aggravated robbery. If convicted, each man could get up to 13 years in prison.
Police also arrested two 18-year-old Warren men and a juvenile Friday morning after stopping their car on Mason Street Northwest just after an armed burglary at a home on that street. The two 18-year-olds are in the Trumbull County jail, charged with aggravated burglary.
