OVI task force out in force in Mahoning Co. on St. Patrick's Day

Mahoning County Operating a Vehicle Impaired Task Force will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 1 a.m. Thursday to deter and intercept impaired drivers.

St. Patrick’s Day on Wednesday has become a dangerous night on Ohio roadways, according to an OVI press release, so if your plans include alcohol, plan ahead and be responsible by designating a sober driver or make other arrangements to get home safely.
