Closing the generational gap

The Vindicator On March 4 Mary Wilson of Austintown, at right, who is known as “Buckeye Grandma,” not only celebrated her 91st birthday, but also celebrated the fact that she is a great-grandmother for the first time. Joining her at the celebration are, from left, Diana Short of Sandusky, a grandma for the first time; Kimberly Deming of Sandusky, a first-time mother; and her daughter, Emily Marie Deming, who completes the fourth generation picture. Wilson is an active senior citizen who walks, drives her car and uses a computer for games, e-mails and business transactions.
