YOUNGSTOWN

The YWCA of Youngstown is accepting entries until March 29 for its 28th annual Women Artists: A Celebration art show at McDonough Museum of Art at Youngstown State University, where the exhibit will be available for public viewing June 19-July 23.

Women, 18 years of age or older, are eligible to enter original work, including paintings, drawings, graphics, photography, sculpture, fiber, ceramics, metal and computer-generated art. Accepted will be CD or slide entries only.

There is a maximum of five entries per artist and a non-refundable fee of $7 for each entry.

About $1,000 in merit prizes will be awarded, including an award to a local artist currently living within 40 miles of the YWCA, and an award that reflects the Y’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.
