Fitch should leave Federal League

FANFARE,

When are the sports minds of Fitch football and basketball going to get out of the Federal League and put together a league that all in the area would be proud to be part of?

Fans have to travel so far to a one-half filled stadium to watch a game. Don’t you think that if you have local fans attending, it would improve the morale of the teams and boost attendance?

In bad economic times, traveling and sparse attendance can’t have a positive effect on the teams. Who doesn’t want to be recognized for their accomplishment on the field or court?

It sure would be exciting to watch teams from close by and to see the stands full. It also would be exciting to not seethe high scores that Fitch is getting beat by.
