Laura Chapella, a daughter of Clifford and Karen Chapella of Youngstown, and Kenneth Sutherin, a son of Patricia Sutherin and Kenneth C. Sutherin, both of Canton, were married Sept. 26, 2009, in a 2 p.m. ceremony solemnized by the Rev. D. Gary Schreckengost at St. John’s Lutheran Church.
After a reception at the Regency House in Austintown, the couple left for a honeymoon at Kittyhawk, N.C., and the Outer Banks. They live in Austintown.
The bride’s strapless white satin princess-style gown featured a laced-up corset back and a sweep train.
Lavender- and eggplant-colored gowns were worn by Pamela Chise, the honor attendant; bridesmaids Laurie Brush and Amanda Bayer; and junior bridesmaid Amanda Chise.
Serving as best man was Arnold Bloom, and groomsman was Robert Chise Jr.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree and is employed at Humility House in Austintown.
The groom attended Kent State University in North Canton and is employed at Extrudex Aluminum Inc. in North Jackson.
