GARDEN CLUBS | This week's meetings announced

MONDAY

Garden Gate will meet at 7 p.m. for a spring felt door hanger project. Hostess is Louise Vett, and co-hostess is Joann Vlacancich.

TUESDAY

East will meet at 11:30 a.m. at the Olive Garden in Boardman with Kitty Matasy serving as hostess.

Trailwood will meet at 12:30 p.m. at Blackburn Home with Jean Chrisman, Gretchen Murphy and Jill Yonata as hostesses. John Dunlap will speak on “Poetry of Edgar Guest.”

WEDNESDAY

St. Michael will meet at 7 p.m. at the parish center with Doe Gallagher presiding. Shirley Griffith will present a program on “St. Patrick’s Day Humor.” Hostesses will be Diana Calinger and Sue D’Agostino. Guests are welcome.

THURSDAY

Coitsville will conduct a spring workshop at 6 p.m. with Wendy Noble as hostess.

Mahoning Valley Rose Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens. Rodd Coonce, of Full Circle Florist, will be the speaker. Applications to join MVRS will be available.

SATURDAY

Garden Forum will have a fashion show, luncheon and general meeting at 11 a.m. at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens. There will be a Chinese auction. Admission is $25. Sunflower will meet at 1 p.m. for a program on evaluating the past year. Hostess will be Virginia Goldston.
