Patrick Pacalo’s new book, “Eastern Europe: Cold Warfare III,” is a well-researched historical account of how each European nation adapted to communism and how each threw it off.

The Boardman author presents an insightful look at the Eastern European people, who were both captives and willing participants in global communist expansion.
