The Youngstown Flag Football Association will host signups at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Niles today from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. for its Spring 2010 Co-ed Flag Football and Cheerleading season.
There are new competitive and recreational divisions and no tryouts or drafts. Children ages 5 through 14 are eligible to participate.
There will be another chance to sign up Mar. 18 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Boardman from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Registration is available online at www.yffayouth.net and ends Mar. 21.

Wrestlers place at state tournament
Boardman sophomore John Dillon (125 pounds) and senior Jerry Pasquale (119) each stood on the awards podium at the state tournament for second time Saturday.
Dillon, who finished third last year as a freshman, finished fourth in 2010. Pasquale finished eighth as a freshman and after missing the state tournament for two years, finished his high school career by taking seventh. He defeated Marysville’s Noah Forrider 3-2 to win his final high school match.
Scrappers offer bus trip to Indians game
The Mahoning Valley Scrappers have announced a bus trip ticket package to the Cleveland Indians home opener against the Texas Rangers Apr. 12.
The cost of the trip is $35 and includes the bus trip and a right field, upper level ticket.
