Close to 150 students at Poland North Elementary School were motivated by the movie “Tooth Fairy” and entered a contest sponsored by Cinema South.

Students in kindergarten through second grade had the opportunity to enter a coloring contest and third and fourth-graders were asked to write an essay. The essay’s theme asked what would they would bring instead of money if they were the tooth fairy.

Morgan Kluchar, kindergarten; Ralphie Smith, first grade; Marie Kaschak, second grade; Marissa Gordon, third grade; and Julie Ferrick, fourth grade, were chosen as the winners.

The students each received a movie poster, T-shirt, gift certificates to Chick-fil-a and Papa Johns and passes to Cinema South.
