YWCA to host talk

YOUNGSTOWN

The YWCA is inviting the public to hear Martha Hirpa, director of Gender Equity Advocacy, Heifer International, speak on “Women in the Developing World,” on Thursday at Park Vista Gathering Room, 1216 Fifth Ave.

There will be socializing at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6, followed by the program.

The cost is $15, and patrons are to indicate preference for a chicken breast or a vegetarian dinner. Reservations are to be made in advance at bbrothers@neo.rr.com. Payment will be accepted at the door.
